I love how these mats work and how sleek they look in our bathroom. the water seems to disappear in front of your eyes. easy to keep clean y wiping with a damp cloth.the surface appears smooth but has a surprisingly good grip to it making it feel safe that we wont slip.amazed at how well this works. happily would recommend this product. ideal swap out for the soggy and damp mat!

Really good to have Nice and light by also comes with a sheet to go underneath so it doesn’t slide on the floor and some sandpaper just in case it chips

This is an interesting product. Its a bathroom mat that is made out of a hard stone material. It is designed to be a shower mat. The benefit of it is that it is pretty absorbant and then dries quite quickly, avoiding soggy mats like the cloth variants which then end of smelling or needing to be washed regularly.I really like this, its well made, looks good and has an antislip surface. It absorbs water well, dries quickly and is not slippery when wet. At £30 its not cheap, but if you're looking …for a low maintainence shower/bath mat, this is quite a good option. I definitely recommend.

Having only ever had material mats before this took a bit of getting used too. It is like having a giant pumice stone on the floor as it does absorb the water from your feet well but it does feel weird not sinking into something soft.It is a reasonable size and certainly does the job its intended for I don't like having it down on the floor the whole time though so have to lean it up against the tiles, unlike a material mat where you can hang it over the bath. Found if we left it down that y…ou could easily stub your toe on it walking to the loo, but perhaps that's just us !You can clean the mat with the sandpaper provided if there are any stains on it but so far everything has absorbed in.Hope this helps .....

I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical that this would work as well as the fabric mats I'd normally use, but it actually works an absolute dream! It's surprisingly absorbent and doesn't leave any wet or slippery patches at all, and has the benefit of (supposedly at least) being more hygenic, as well as just looking much more modern.One downside is that *every* single hair is really noticeable, which isn't really a problem with usual fabric-based bath mats. I'm not going to dock any stars for …that though since I imagine it's an issue with all stone bath mats, but it's something to keep in mind when buying though.It comes with a bit of sandpaper which can be used whenever it gets marked and needs cleaning, or when it begins to lose absorbency. That's all descibed in the instructions it comes with though, and likely won't be too much hassle (I've not had to do it so far since using it).

My bathroom floor was tiled with wall tile, which is deadly slick when wet. And I hate bath mats, wrinkling up and needing laundering. This 100% stone "mat" is a slab of absorbent stone, with an additional anti-slip mesh that can go under it. (I didn't need that.) The stone feels smooth under your feet, but even soaking wet it absorbs all the water and gives you a place to dry down without any slipping. And before you are dried off, the wet footsteps vanish into the stone, leaving it all dry ag…ain. PERFECT. This is not one of the cheaters made if rubber padding with some diatomaceous powder in it, it is 100% stone. It has not needed any care, but I'll probably rinse it off and let it dry out every six months or so. The surface hasn't shown any dirt or wear after few weeks use. I only wish I'd known about this years ago--so I could have missed some dangerous falls!

The absorbency of the mat is great, and it is very easy to clean. I didn't want the normal cloth mats because they take a long time to dry and can absorb dirt and dust easily.I'd only say to buy it in a deeper colour rather than white since you'd want to wipe visible dust on it every other day if you're as obsessive as me, haha.

I ordered this stone mat for my bathroom, as I needed a mat that dried quickly and looked attractive. The stone mat is very different to other bathmats I have tried, as it is hard, not bendable dries very quickly and doesn't keep marks or stains. It is straightforward to clean, and wash compared to other bathmats. I have noticed that sometimes when it gets wet, it is a bit cold to bare feet.Overall, I am satisfied and would recommend it as a useful bathmat. I hope this review helped you.

Very different from your usual cloth material bath mats. I'd never heard of this before (diatomaceous) , however its an interesting read on Google. So the positives are is that this is well build, is heavy and feels like a quality product and it does seem to absorb everything really well. It does need to go onto a hard level surface - think a piece of slate so if not stable and you put your body weight on it, its like to crack. For me it was a bit small so check the measurements - I have an… open shower which means the spray sometimes escapes the cubicle and ends up on the bathroom floor. My larger cloth mat would collect this. This due to its size means I now just end p with a wet floor. Overall it does perform well and looks trendy, would work well on a tiled floor that benefits from underfloor heating in the winter.
