Cutting Process:

We can do this for you FREE of charge, However our non-slip decking strips can be easily tailored to your desired size or shape using a hacksaw. For larger quantities, consider utilising orbital cutting equipment with a stone or diamond blade. Ensure cutting takes place in an outdoor setting or an area with dust extraction and proper ventilation. Always wear appropriate protective equipment during the cutting process.

Preparation:

Before installation, thoroughly sweep and clean the designated area.

Mechanical Fixing:

If your Non-Slip Decking Strips come pre-drilled, holes will be positioned as indicated in point 1 below. Countersinking is unnecessary, as the pre-drilled holes allow screws to self-countersink when properly secured.

1. For optimal results, recommend fixing centrally, with a maximum distance of 50mm from each end and a maximum spacing of 250mm between the remaining holes.

2. When using a cordless screwdriver, ensure the correct torque setting to prevent over-tightening and stripping.

3. Achieve a snug fit by consecutively fastening screws either from left to right or right to left.
