Installation
For the best results, we recommend a double-fixing method when installing Anti-Slip Stair Nosings – combining high-strength adhesive with mechanical fixings.

Mechanical Fixings:
As a guide, use approximately 13 fixings to secure one 3000mm Anti-Slip Stair Nosing. This equates to around 5 fixings per linear metre.

Adhesive Application:
Using a 6mm bead, one 290ml tube of adhesive sealant will typically cover up to 5 linear metres (approx. 60ml per metre). Please note that actual coverage depends on the substrate condition and application method.

Fixing Options by Substrate:

Timber: Use BZP Silver Cutter Screws, which can be driven directly through the GRP. They are self-countersinking, ensuring no raised trip hazards.

Concrete: Drill, plug, and secure with a suitable screw for firm fixing.

Open Grating: Secure with an appropriate bolt, washer, and clip combination.

Returns & Cancellations
If you are not satisfied with your purchase or you change your mind, you can request a return or exchange within Twenty-Eight (28) days of purchase if the product is in the original condition and packaging. Original condition means that there are no scratches or marks on the product and the product’s packaging has not been opened, used or damaged and the product is in a re-saleable condition.
To initiate a return, please send an email to info@slipsaway.co.uk with a list of the items that you want to return and the reason you are not satisfied with the product. Detailed instructions for the return will be provided with 48 hours.
You must pay the return postal cost.
