I got one of these grids to go at the bottom of a flight of outside wooden steps which during a frostytime they can get very slippery. One of the grand children did slip and ended up with a substantialbruise. This fiberglass grated platform is strong and solid underfoot. I provides a secure platform for multiple purposes and won't rot or rust like wood or metal. It is also bright yellow so very visible! The product finish is a bit rough around the edges - given how it will be used, it's not too much of a problem, but I expected better for the price of £70 (at time of review).

I have multiple wet spots on my woodsy walking trails I’ve created on my property. These are a good temporary or permanent footing so the trails aren’t full of uneven footing holes from sinking into the mud when trails are wet. I chose yellow so when things green up it is visible for mowing or removal. They are sturdy and functional for footing anywhere you want. I plan on ordering more, very fair price when compared to similar items.
Our French drain grate cover broke and we could not find the appropriate replacement grate. Had to have spaces large enough to let water through yet small enough that our dogs’ paws didn’t get stuck when walking over it. It also had to be light enough for us to remove to clean the drain. After trying multiple models, this one filled all the needs. A definite recommendation. So far it’s help up well to weather.
