Premium & Super Grade Photoluminescent anti-slip tapes glow in the dark and are suitable for many applications, particularly internal areas such as stairways and walkways used as designated exit routes. In a lights-out situation, such as a power cut, exits remain clearly indicated, even from rooms higher up in a building.
The glow in the dark material has a non-abrasive anti-slip surface that is kind to bare feet and easy to clean. The lack of peaks and valleys on the surface helps prevent bacteria from harbouring, making it suitable for food-safe areas such as kitchens and food preparation rooms.
Premium & Super Grade Photoluminescent tapes offer different levels of luminance that exceed regulatory requirements, such as OSHA 1910 and ASTM 2072, requiring 30 mcd/m² (millicandela per square metre) and 4.4 mcd/m² for 60 minutes. SlipsAway Premium & Super Grade Photoluminescent tapes also exceed DIN 67510 standards. Super H3454 meets Class A classification, glowing for up to approximately 450 minutes.
In real-world terms, following approximately 1.5 hours of charging, H3454 can have an afterglow of between 4–6 hours.
