Improving Safety Across Railway Environments

We were recently contacted by Mark Hall, Director of Hallmark Compliance, who required a range of specialist safety products for a project involving Merseytravel.

The project called for durable, slip-resistant flooring solutions alongside high-visibility safety products to help improve pedestrian safety, particularly in areas where lighting was limited.

Working with Hallmark Compliance, we supplied a combination of GRP mesh grating, GRP stair tread covers, fluorescent glow-in-the-dark abrasive tape and high-visibility floor markers.

GRP Mesh Grating

Our heavy-duty GRP mesh grating provides a durable, corrosion-resistant walking surface suitable for demanding industrial and railway environments. Its open-grid design allows water and debris to drain through, helping reduce standing water on walkways and working platforms.

GRP Anti-Slip Stair Tread Covers

Designed to improve grip on existing steps, our GRP stair tread covers feature a hardwearing abrasive surface that provides additional traction in wet and demanding conditions.

Fluorescent Glow-in-the-Dark Anti-Slip Tape

For poorly illuminated areas, we supplied specialist glow-in-the-dark abrasive safety tape. The tape combines a textured anti-slip surface with photoluminescent properties, helping improve visibility in darkness after sufficient exposure to light.

High-Visibility Floor Markers

We also supplied high-visibility floor markers to help identify designated walkways, highlight potential hazards and improve awareness throughout the working environment.
